About our students

...so where do our dental nurses come from?

Many of our dental nurse students come from the south-west, southern counties and the Midlands. New friendships are formed at our workshops between both tutors and students, and car-sharing is common. Local support groups are often established between students who
benefit from further contact with each other between workshops.

...and what happens after they qualify?

Many dental nurses who study with us are also looking towards furthering their careers in dental hygiene and therapy training. Most UK training schools recognise that this course gives a valuable insight into the educational abilities needed by the hygienist and therapist. Other students become educators in their practices or go on to take teaching qualifications.

Student Feedback

"The course has not only boosted my confidence in the workplace. I feel that I have gained respect from dentists and hygienist with whom I now work with as part of a team educating and improving the oral health of patients. The best part of being an educator is working with patients, educating and motivating them, and seeing an improvement in health." Maxine Wheeler OHE, Somerset
