| Knowledge
in the field of dental health is changing rapidly and The General Dental Council has also made the registration of Dental Care Professionals (DCPs) mandatory (from July 2008). As part of registration, Dental Nurses are expected to show Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The Oral Health Education qualification has been approved by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners for 45 hours accredited learning.
