Oral Health Education Workshops

Workshops form an integral part of the course

worshopWorkshops are designed to help with the more practical aspects of the oral health education course; and for our students to meet one another, share ideas and solve problems.

There is help with project planning, role-play experience to give confidence when carrying out workplace assignments, and practice for the oral part of the exam.

There are six workshops which are held on the first Friday of each month between October - March at our study suites in North Bristol and Plymouthviva.

If students miss a workshop, although the written material can be received by e-mail/post, they will find it difficult to keep up with the practical aspects of the course.

Lift-shares are also often established between students at the first workshop.

Student Feedback

"The Saturday workshops helped to explain things further, and when we were doing case studies they were even greater help as you could ask other people for ideas and what they thought. Also, one Saturday helped to prepare for the final exams." Lisa Jones OHE (Frome)
